Join us for the second annual Pumpkin Smash!
Saturday 11/15, 11:00 – 12:30. Swing by, or come smash a pumpkin while you’re enjoying TinyCon inside the library! We are also accepting old pumpkin donations. Smashable pumpkins can be left on the ground near the big green bins. Already rotted or gouey items can be placed directly in the bins. Please note that pumpkins must be free of wax, candle residue, or paint in order to be safely composted.
Last year, library patrons smashed up 250 pounds of smushy pumpkins, old gourds, and last month’s jack-o-lanterns sending all of it back to the earth, thanks to our friends at Adirondack Worm Farm.
